Job summary

Gulf Cryo seeks a seasoned Bulk Country Manager to lead strategy, growth, and operations for its bulk gas business in Saudi Arabia. You will drive P&L performance, partner with regional leaders, ensure safety and quality standards, and manage a multidisciplinary team across sales, operations and customer service.

You will shape strategic initiatives, optimize logistics and pricing, and build strong key account relationships while maintaining compliance with local regulations and industry codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Experience in industrial/medical gases, chemicals, or B2B bulk distribution is desirable.

Job description

The Bulk Country Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and P&L performance of the Bulk Gases business (liquid oxygen, nitrogen, argon, CO2, and related industrial/medical gases delivered via tanker/bulk supply) within the assigned country. The role owns commercial growth, operational excellence, safety performance, and customer relationship management across all bulk gas customer segments (industrial, healthcare, food & beverage, metals, chemicals, etc.).

Strategy & Business Leadership

• Define and execute the country-level bulk gas business strategy, aligned with regional/global business objectives.
• Drive volume and revenue growth across new and existing bulk accounts.

Operations & Supply Chain

• Ensure reliable, safe, and cost-effective bulk gas production, storage, and distribution (tanker fleet, filling stations, telemetry/tank monitoring).

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Champion a strong safety culture across all bulk operations, including tanker transport, filling, and customer site delivery (HSE compliance).
• Oversee quality management systems and audits (ISO, customer-specific standards).
• Lead, mentor, and develop the country bulk team across sales, operations, and customer service functions.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget, forecasts, and monthly business performance reviews.
• Report business performance, risks, and opportunities to regional/global leadership.
• Ensure robust financial controls, credit management, and receivables discipline.

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.

Experience

Minimum 12–15 years’ experience in industrial/medical gases, chemicals, or B2B bulk distribution, including at least 5 years in a senior sales, commercial, or general management role with full P&L accountability. Prior experience operating in the KSA/GCC market and knowledge of local industrial customer segments is strongly preferred.
