Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Cost Control Manager in Saudi Arabia to monitor, evaluate, and control project costs across the project lifecycle. The role supports budget compliance, forecasting accuracy, financial reporting, and commercial decision-making.

The ideal candidate will develop budgets, establish CBS, track expenditures, and coordinate with commercial and engineering teams to quantify cost impacts. A minimum 8–12 years' experience in cost control on major infrastructure projects is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Cost Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master's Degree in Project Management, Cost Engineering, or Construction Management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets and cost control systems.
• Establish cost breakdown structures aligned with work packages and contract requirements.
• Track expenditures against budgets and identify cost variances.
• Support baseline budgets for bridge and infrastructure construction activities.
• Monitor commitments, expenditures, and forecasted costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare cost forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Perform monthly cost reviews and analyze cost performance.
• Identify potential cost overruns and recommend mitigation measures.
• Prepare periodic cost reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
• Ensure accurate estimation at completion (EAC).
• Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) processes.
• Analyze project trends and propose corrective actions.
• Support management decision-making through performance analysis.
• Coordinate with commercial and engineering teams to quantify cost impacts.
• Prepare cost assessments and recommendations for approval.
• Monitor procurement budgets and commitments.
• Review purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
• Track committed costs and evaluate sourcing implications.
• Assist in supplier and subcontractor performance analysis.
• Review interim payment applications and contractor claims.
• Verify financial impacts of contractual changes and project risks.
