AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced BIM Engineer (Information Manager) to lead Building Information Modelling (BIM) implementation, digital information management, and multidisciplinary coordination for major high-rise residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, and large-scale building developments in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with BIM standards, manage project information workflows, and facilitate efficient collaboration among designers, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Your role Lead project BIM implementation in accordance with client requirements, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and company standards. Manage project information and data workflows throughout design, construction, commissioning, and handover phases. Develop, review, and maintain BIM Execution Plans, Information Delivery Plans (IDP), and project BIM protocols. Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 standards and project-specific information management requirements. Manage federated models and conduct clash detection exercises using BIM coordination platforms. Organize and lead BIM coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams. Monitor model development and ensure compliance with defined Levels of Information Need (LOIN) and Level of Development (LOD) requirements. Review and validate BIM deliverables submitted by designers and contractors. Establish and manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) for project information exchange and document control. Ensure adherence to project naming conventions, model standards, asset data requirements, and information classification systems. Support design reviews, constructability assessments, and digital coordination workshops. Develop and maintain BIM dashboards, model health reports, clash reports, and project information metrics. Monitor BIM-related KPIs and report progress to project management and clients. Coordinate BIM integration with project controls, scheduling, quantity take-off, and facilities management requirements. Support 4D scheduling and 5D cost management initiatives where applicable. Facilitate BIM-based quantity take-offs and project visualization exercises. Assist in digital handover and asset information management processes. Provide BIM training, mentoring, and technical support to project teams. Support implementation of digital engineering, smart building technologies, and data-driven project delivery initiatives. Ensure successful delivery of Asset Information Models (AIM) and project closeout documentation.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, BIM Management, Information Management, or a related discipline. Master's Degree in BIM Management, Digital Construction, or Construction Technology is preferred. BIM Professional Certification from Autodesk, BRE Academy, Bentley, or equivalent is highly desirable. Certification in ISO 19650 Information Management is preferred. Membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is preferred. Additional certifications in Digital Engineering or Project Information Management are advantageous. 10 to 15 years of professional BIM and Information Management experience. Minimum 5 years of experience on major high-rise and large-scale building projects. Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC countries is highly preferred. Experience working with consultants, PMCs, developers, and contractors. Demonstrated experience throughout the full project lifecycle from design through construction and handover. Experience managing BIM requirements on projects exceeding SAR 500 million is advantageous.
