Job summary

Flynas is seeking a Maintenance and Engineering Safety Officer reporting to the Director of Safety. The role ensures maintenance safety standards, oversees incident reporting to GACA and AIB within 48 hours, and leads safety risk assessments and awareness programs across maintenance operations.

The candidate should hold an engineering/maintenance background with a bachelor's degree and aviation safety certifications, and be fluent in English (Arabic helpful) to communicate across teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering/maintenance background required.
• MS Office familiarity required.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic helpful.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance manual meets safety standards per GACA and IOSA.
• Enforce safety SOP adherence by maintenance staff.
• Uphold ramp safety procedures for staff airside.
• Report maintenance incidents to GACA and AIB within 48 hours.
• Maintain and upload incident reports to safety system regularly.
