Job summary

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking an Asset Planner at Taif to manage Line Replaceable Items for the RSAF Typhoon fleet, aligning LRIs with maintenance plans and airworthiness requirements.

You will coordinate with the Integrated Logistics Operations Centre and RSAF stakeholders to ensure timely LRI availability, maintenance scheduling, and effective embodiment of upgrades.

The role involves developing processes, reporting on status, and training Saudi staff in fleet management practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical engineering with experience in aircraft maintenance management.
• Knowledge of aircraft fleet or LRI management and continuing airworthiness requirements.
• Familiarity with ESS and Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create tactical and strategic LRI management plans for endorsement by the TSC Commander.
• Monitor lifing metric consumption across the Typhoon LRIs and compile reports for RSAF approval.
• Review TI requirements with TSC Business Data, Forward Operations and Supply to assess impact on LRIs.
• Monitor maintenance scheduling effectiveness against approved maintenance programme requirements.
• Coordinate review of ISDA reports with ISDA and Forward Operations to determine actions.
• Initiate ad-hoc analysis of Typhoon sub-system data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain TSC processes and procedures relating to fleet LRI management.
• Generate and maintain status reports relevant to fleet LRI management.
• Undertake additional tasks as requested by TSC and RSAF management.
• Provide structured On-the-Job training for RSAF/Saudi National fleet management staff.
