Job summary

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking a Fleet Planner to join the Typhoon Support Centre in Taif. You will help develop tactical and strategic fleet plans, track maintenance requirements and ensure compliance with continuing airworthiness.

The role involves analysing flying hour consumption, coordinating with ISDA and ESS teams, and producing status reports. Applicants should have an aeronautical/mechanical background and knowledge of fleet management principles.

Qualifications

• Qualified to HNC or equivalent in an Aeronautical/Mechanical engineering discipline.
• Experience in aircraft support/maintenance management is required or advantageous.
• Knowledge of fleet management principles and continuing airworthiness is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop tactical and strategic fleet management plans for endorsement by the TSC Commander.
• Monitor Flying Hour consumption and Fatigue Index, compiling reports for planning.
• Create maintenance activity programmes and assess impact on fleet availability.
• Review TI requirements with stakeholders to advise embodiment strategy.
• Monitor scheduling effectiveness and compliance with approved programmes.
• Coordinate ISDA and Technical Specialists for action or further investigation.
• Initiate ad-hoc analysis of Typhoon sub-system data to identify trends.
• Provide On-the-Job training to RSAF and Saudi National staff as needed.
• Develop and maintain TSC processes and procedures for fleet management.
