Role Context The Architect will independently manage conventional and moderately complex architectural assignments while coordinating closely with engineering, design, and construction teams. The role combines creative design thinking with technical documentation, code compliance, constructability, and multidisciplinary coordination. Accurate architectural decisions will help improve design quality, reduce conflicts during construction, and ensure completed spaces meet project, client, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct architectural studies and develop practical design concepts for assigned project scopes.
- Establish design criteria based on project requirements, client expectations, site conditions, and applicable standards.
- Prepare architectural reports, studies, design narratives, and supporting technical documentation.
- Develop architectural solutions that balance functionality, aesthetics, constructability, cost, and regulatory compliance.
- Review architectural CAD drawings, BIM models, layouts, renderings, study models, and presentation material.
- Check design documentation for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and technical coordination.
- Review detailed architectural drawings before formal issue.
- Verify that architectural deliverables comply with approved design criteria and client requirements.
- Apply relevant building codes, zoning requirements, permitting criteria, and project standards.
- Identify potential code or regulatory issues during design development and coordinate corrective solutions.
- Prepare construction specifications for architectural materials, finishes, components, and systems.
- Develop detailed material and equipment requisitions where required.
- Coordinate with suppliers and technical representatives to clarify material performance and specification requirements.
- Review material options for suitability, durability, appearance, availability, and project compliance.
- Coordinate architectural requirements with Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and specialist disciplines.
- Resolve design interfaces involving building systems, ceiling zones, shafts, penetrations, equipment, and architectural finishes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary design coordination meetings.
- Identify clashes and technical inconsistencies before they reach construction.
- Coordinate architectural information with civil and external works where building interfaces are affected.
- Review consultant and design team submissions and provide clear technical comments.
- Incorporate approved revisions and ensure downstream disciplines receive updated architectural information.
- Prepare or review construction drawings, details, sections, schedules, and specifications.
- Ensure construction documentation accurately communicates approved design intent.

Ideal Profile
- Bachelor 's degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification.
- Master 's degree in Architecture is preferred.
- Saudi National eligible for the position.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural design experience.
- Professional Architect registration or license is required.
- Strong working knowledge of architectural design standards, techniques, practices, and industry concepts.
- Good understanding of building systems integration and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and architectural documentation requirements.
- Ability to develop architectural concepts and progress them into coordinated construction documentation.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with other architectural visualization and design tools is beneficial.
- Good understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements.
- Experience coordinating with Structural, MEP, and specialist consultants.
- Ability to review architectural drawings and identify technical inconsistencies.
