Associate Architect – Residential Design (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) – full‑time.
Parsons Corporation invites a Saudi national architecture graduate to support residential design and interior design tasks, including CAD production, rendering, model preparation, and site observation.
Responsibilities
- Produce CAD drawings, layouts, renderings, study models, construction documents, color boards, and presentation materials.
- Prepare design outputs using project standards, client requirements, and senior architect instructions.
- Apply established drafting standards, drawing conventions, and documentation requirements.
- Support compliance with technical manuals, codes, and design references.
- Compile project data, perform dimensional checks, basic calculations, and routine design coordination tasks.
- Update drawings and specifications based on redline comments, markups, and coordination feedback.
- Research design ideas, materials, product options, finishes, and technical solutions.
- Assist in preparing design presentations, visual studies, model outputs, and supporting graphics.
- Inspect architectural or interior design features on project sites and record existing conditions, progress observations, or design-related comments.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, engineers, CAD technicians, and project team members to meet shared deadlines.
- Maintain accuracy, clarity, consistency, and proper revision control in assigned deliverables.
- Follow quality procedures when preparing drawings, layouts, models, and design records.
- Assist with resolving minor design coordination issues and escalate technical questions where senior input is required.
- Maintain organized design files, drawing records, references, and documentation in line with project requirements.
- Perform additional architectural and design support responsibilities as required by the team.
Qualifications
- Saudi National candidate with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- 0–2 years of relevant architectural experience, preferably on residential projects in Saudi Arabia.
- Working knowledge of architectural design standards, interior design practices, drafting methods, and basic construction documentation.
- Ability to prepare CAD drawings, presentation drawings, renderings, study models, layouts, and design support materials.
- Proficiency in sketching, rendering, model building, and visual communication.
- Proficient with CAD and common PC software packages used in architectural and interior design work.
- Basic understanding of architectural codes, design references, materials, finishes, and project documentation requirements.
- Able to follow redline comments, apply revisions accurately, and maintain consistency across drawing sets.
- Attention to detail and ability to check dimensions, layouts, notes, and drawing quality.
- Collaborative team player working with architects, designers, engineers, and project delivery teams.
- Strong willingness to learn, receive feedback, and build technical design capability.
- Good communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
