Job summary

Visible Stars, Inc. in Riyadh is seeking an Application Support Management Specialist to govern the lifecycle of all business applications, ensure they remain secure, and stay compliant with regulatory requirements by managing upgrades, vendor support, vulnerabilities, and certifications.

The role collaborates with IT and cybersecurity teams to track EOS/EOL risks, monitor SSL/TLS certificates, and prepare dashboards on health, upgrades, compliance status, and risks for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Application Support, Application Management, or IT Service Management.
• Experience in banking or financial services is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and application lifecycle management.
• Experience managing application upgrades, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management and cybersecurity remediation processes.
• Strong understanding of SSL/TLS certificates, software licensing, and support lifecycle management.
• Experience dealing with audit observations and regulatory requirements (preferably SAMA).
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the application lifecycle for all assigned applications.
• Maintain application inventory, including versions, support lifecycle, and technology stack.
• Plan, coordinate, and track application upgrades, patches, and version updates.
• Ensure all applications remain vendor-supported and identify EOS and EOL risks.
• Track and coordinate closure of security vulnerabilities with application owners, vendors, and cybersecurity teams.
• Monitor SSL/TLS certificates, application certificates, and license renewals to ensure timely renewal.
• Manage vendor deliverables and follow up on support cases, patches, product roadmaps, and upgrade plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and audit findings.
• Track and manage regulatory requirements, audit observations, and remediation plans until closure.
• Coordinate application assessments, health checks, and periodic reviews.
• Maintain application documentation, architecture, dependency mapping, and operational records.
• Prepare management dashboards and reports covering health, vulnerabilities, upgrades, compliance status, and risks.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Information Security, Release Management, Enterprise Architecture, and Business teams during application changes.
• Support budgeting and planning activities related to upgrades, licensing, and vendor support.
• Identify application risks and propose mitigation plans.
• Ensure operational readiness before production releases.
