Visible Stars Company seeks an Application Support Management Specialist to govern the lifecycle of all business applications. The role ensures security, compliance with regulatory requirements, and alignment with technology standards by managing upgrades, vendor support, vulnerabilities, and certifications.

You will coordinate with infrastructure, information security, release management, enterprise architecture, and business teams to ensure production readiness and timely project delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in Application Support/ITSM.
• Experience in banking or financial services is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of ITIL and application lifecycle management required.
• Experience with upgrades, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Govern the lifecycle of business applications and manage upgrades and patches.
• Coordinate with owners, vendors, and cybersecurity teams on vulnerabilities.
• Monitor certificates, licenses, and vendor deliverables to ensure renewal and support.
• Ensure regulatory compliance including SAMA and internal governance.
• Prepare dashboards and reports on application health, risks, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Release, EA, and business teams during changes.
• Support budgeting for upgrades, licensing, and vendor support.

Job TitleApplication Support Management Specialist

Job Purpose

The Application Support Management Specialist is responsible for governing and managing the lifecycle of all business applications within the department. The role ensures applications remain secure, supported, compliant with regulatory requirements, and aligned with the Bank's technology standards by managing upgrades, vendor support, vulnerabilities, certifications, and regulatory commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the application lifecycle for all assigned applications.
• Maintain application inventory, including versions, support lifecycle, and technology stack.
• Plan, coordinate, and track application upgrades, patches, and version updates.
• Ensure all applications remain vendor-supported and identify End-of-Support (EOS) and End-of-Life (EOL) risks.
• Track and coordinate closure of security vulnerabilities with application owners, vendors, and cybersecurity teams.
• Monitor SSL/TLS certificates, application certificates, and license renewals to ensure timely renewal.
• Manage vendor deliverables and follow up on support cases, patches, product roadmaps, and upgrade plans.
• Ensure compliance with SAMA regulations, audit findings, and internal governance requirements.
• Track and manage regulatory requirements, audit observations, and remediation plans until closure.
• Coordinate application assessments, health checks, and periodic reviews.
• Maintain application documentation, architecture, dependency mapping, and operational records.
• Prepare management dashboards and reports covering application health, vulnerabilities, upgrades, compliance status, and risks.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Information Security, Release Management, Enterprise Architecture, and Business teams during application changes.
• Support budgeting and planning activities related to application upgrades, licensing, and vendor support.
• Identify application risks and propose mitigation plans.
• Ensure application operational readiness before production releases.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Application Support, Application Management, or IT Service Management.
• Experience in banking or financial services is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and application lifecycle management.
• Experience managing application upgrades, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management and cybersecurity remediation processes.
• Strong understanding of SSL/TLS certificates, software licensing, and support lifecycle management.
• Experience dealing with audit observations and regulatory requirements (preferably SAMA).
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
