Honeywell Technologies in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Digital Integration professional to design, implement, document and deliver APM and Operations Management solutions. You will work in a project environment across the Middle East, driving standardization and supporting sales with presentations and PoCs.

The role covers multiple skills including APM, UI/UX, equipment maintenance and data science techniques, deployed on‑premise or in the Cloud, with ~90% billable work and travel within

Competenze

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, IT, Physics or in similar discipline.
• Preferably holds industrial IT technology certificates (e.g. SQL Server, Python and / or state-of-the-art Programming Languages).
• Good written and oral communication skills (in English & Arabic).
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Capable of focusing on and prioritising key issues

Position Summary

The candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: The incumbent will be required to work in a project environment – from study phase through designing, implementation, documenting, delivering and maintaining Digital Integration solutions primarily in Middle East Region. Optimizing project productivity and quality by driving and maintaining standardization will be an important goal. In addition the incumbent will be required to support sales with presentations, demonstrations, participat in Proof of Concept (PoC). Digital Integration solution involves multiple skills like APM, UI/UX, equipment maintenance and data science techniques. Candidate is expected to work in part or all of these areas. Candidate will apply software technologies to achieve Asset Performance Management (APM), Operations Management and other HCI solutions across Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemical, minerals industries (after appropriate initial training in all relevant packages). The application could be deployed on-premise or in the Cloud. The position is a direct staff position with billability to external customer projects, intercompany customer projects and customer support services on average >= 90%.

Reporting

The applicant will have a direct reporting line to the Engineering Manager for Digital Integration.

Skills / Experience

Responsibilities

The applicant will be responsible for:

• Is able to contribute in technical discussions in the areas of asset performance, digital integrations and / or data driven models.
• Working with the lead or senior engineer to design & delivery of projects. Candidate will also be responsible for independently delivering their part of work with minimum supervision.
• Carrying out product demonstrations/proof of concepts.
• Support development of conceptual, user requirement, functional and detailed technical design specifications and provides support and broad expertise for digital integration applications.
• Establishing acceptance of designs with customer stakeholders. Translating and conveying impact of process and system changes to bottom line and articulating the benefits & value to the customer.
• Ensures that the appropriate test scripts, test data, test logs, & defect logs are in place to ensure quality delivery.
• Participate and facilitate critical project activities, ensuring buy-in and acceptance from the customer.
• Support change management within customer organization through preparation of business process diagrams, preparing training & best practice documentation, conducting training sessions.
• Shares technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline and other disciplines.
• Communicate with internal team regarding technical issues, escalating these early in the project.
• Provide pre-sales support to proposal teams.
• Showcase and define Honeywell’s solutions to potential customers

Conditions

Position requires approximately 30% travel mostly within Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.
