Job summary

Red Sea Sport & Entertainment (RSSE) is seeking an Instructor to deliver inland adventure experiences at The Red Sea destination. You will work under the Akun Adventure portfolio, leading activities, ensuring safety and high guest satisfaction.

You will collaborate with senior instructors and resort teams, conduct pre-activity briefings, monitor conditions, and uphold environmental and safety standards while promoting RSSE values.

Qualifications

• Valid Wilderness First Aid or internationally recognised First Aid certification.
• Basic Land Navigation training, including natural navigation and GPS usage.
• Leave No Trace certification or environmental training.
• Search, Tracking & Operations training.
• Trekking / Mountain Leader certification (IFMGA, UIAA, or BMC preferred).
• Additional National Governing Body (NGB) certifications (e.g., Mountain Biking, Climbing, Archery, High Ropes, Quad Biking).
• Minimum of two to three years’ experience within the tourism, adventure, or outdoor recreation industry; experience in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support the operation of inland, land-based adventure activities across The Red Sea destination.
• Lead guests on Akun Adventure experiences, ensuring safety, engagement, and a premium, memorable outdoor experience.
• Conduct clear and professional pre-activity briefings, including safety instructions, risk awareness, and experience expectations.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, SOPs, RAMS, and emergency procedures during all activities.
• Educate guests on environmental awareness, conservation principles, and responsible outdoor behavior in line with RSSE sustainability values.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming, and service-oriented approach when interacting with guests at all times.
• Monitor weather conditions, terrain, and guest capability, adjusting activity plans to ensure safety and experience quality.
• Assist with trail exploration and assessment to identify optimal routes that deliver high-end and safe adventure experiences.
