Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding, part of DHL Group, is seeking an AFR Specialist SBC/MNC in Riyadh to administer air freight service delivery plans and manage shipment execution activities. The role serves as the primary contact for customers and focuses on delivering efficient operational outcomes in line with policy and compliance requirements.

Education level is a bachelor’s degree with less than 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Less than 2 years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer shipment level activities including receipt of customer booking, documentation and all related local and international transport.
• Act as customer first point of contact for shipment information, exception/complaint management and claims.
• Manage shipment routing and assignment to ensure service commitments are met and profitability is maximized, and prepare invoices and supporting documentation.
• Support regulatory compliance procedures relating to commodity and locations for shipments.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients, identify upsell opportunities, and drive customer retention.
• Analyze day‑to‑day delivery issues and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
• Resolve supplier performance issues and propose improvements.
• Provide guidance or training to less experienced positions as needed.
• Create and/or confirm transport orders, perform bookings and optimize processes.
• Prepare, control, and distribute all required Import/Export documents.
• Update Customs shipment information and status, resolve customer issues and incidents.
