Job summary

Proven SA in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is seeking an Operations and Customer Service Specialist to ensure flawless execution of air and ocean shipments. You will support customers, sales and network with outstanding guidance while handling shipments per SOPs and policies.

This role requires extensive knowledge of import/export procedures and prior freight forwarding experience, along with strong administrative and communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Extensive knowledge of ocean and air import / export procedures.
• Prior experience in a freight forwarding company is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Arrange export operations and documentation.
• Book shipments with carriers / airlines and coordinate with handling agents.
• Manage and oversee customs clearance and release documents.
• Provide updates on delays and keep customers informed throughout the process.
• Maintain accurate data in AS400 and monitor KPIs.
• Follow SOPs / IOPs and communicate processes with agents and vendors.
• Identify potential business opportunities and share with Sales.
