Job summary

Safe Hands Shipping Line in Riyadh is seeking an Air Freight Operations Lead (Import and Export) to manage day-to-day air freight activities for both import and export shipments. You will coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, and customers, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.

The role requires 3+ years in air-freight operations at a forwarder or airline in KSA or GCC, plus an IATA Cargo Introductory diploma and IATA DGR certificate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in air-freight operations at a forwarder or airline/GSA in KSA or GCC.
• IATA Cargo Introductory diploma is required.
• Valid IATA DGR Acceptance certificate (Cat 6/7.3) or ready to sit within 30 days.
• Experience at an IATA-accredited agent (CASS settlements, e-AWB, Cargo iQ milestones) is preferred.
• KSA airport experience: SAL terminals, FASAH, delivery orders, CargoGate.
• Arabic and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day air freight operations for import and export shipments.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, and customers.
• Prepare and review air waybills and customs documentation.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve operational issues.
• Optimize workflows and maintain service quality and safety standards.
• Guide junior team members and collaborate with customs clearance and warehousing teams.
