Job summary

Mahally invites an experienced SEO Manager to own the organic search strategy end-to-end for a growing Saudi marketplace. You will lead technical SEO, content strategy, and AI-driven discovery efforts across Arabic and English content while coordinating with Engineering, Product, Content, and Merchants teams.

You will shape the crawl/index strategy, build durable landing-page surfaces, and drive measurable growth in qualified traffic, orders, and GMV.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SEO experience for large-scale platforms such as marketplaces or e-commerce sites.
• Strong technical SEO expertise including crawlability, indexation, rendering, canonicalisation and site architecture.
• Experience managing SEO for 100K+ indexable URLs/pages and tackling challenges like index bloat and crawl-budget optimisation.
• Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, and advanced crawling/SEO tools (Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, Semrush).
• Experience implementing, auditing, and optimising structured data/schema markup for e-commerce (Product, Offer, Breadcrumb, Organization).
• Professional proficiency in both Arabic and English, with Arabic keyword/intent research.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset to quantify opportunities and measure results across organic metrics.
• Proven experience partnering with Engineering and Product to deliver SEO improvements at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO foundation for a marketplace at scale: crawl budget, indexation, canonicalisation, pagination, internal linking, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals, and JS rendering.
• Design durable organic surfaces and content roadmaps: Arabic-first keyword research, briefs, publishing cadence, and refresh cycles.
• Own AI/answer-engine visibility strategies (GEO/AEO): crawler access policy, structured data, entity clarity, and AI presence.
• Measure SEO performance: dashboards linking organic metrics to sessions, orders, and GMV; set up monitoring with alerts.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Content, and Merchants teams to translate SEO findings into clear technical requirements.
