Job summary

Egis Group, a global firm in architecture and engineering, seeks an experienced Agriculture/Arboriculture Engineer PMO to join its urban planning team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in agriculture, arboriculture, or environmental engineering.
• 5+ years in PMO functions or project management roles.
• Proven experience in managing complex urban planning or infrastructure projects.
• Strong proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet.
• Advanced knowledge of GIS (ArcGIS) and CAD software.
• Budget management, resource allocation, and financial forecasting expertise.
• Solid understanding of urban planning principles and Middle Eastern regulatory contexts.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle for agriculture and arboriculture initiatives within urban planning frameworks.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including scope, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with engineers, landscape architects, environmental specialists, and municipal authorities.
• Analyze technical requirements and feasibility for arboriculture and agricultural integration in urban environments.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and present progress reports, status updates, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and sustainability standards for Riyadh projects.
• Manage stakeholder communications and coordination with internal teams and external partners.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans as needed.
• Support development of best practices and process improvements for future projects.

We are seeking an experienced Agriculture/Arboriculture Engineer PMO to join our urban planning team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of agriculture and arboriculture projects that enhance urban green spaces and environmental sustainability. You will serve as a critical link between engineering teams, urban planners, and stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for agriculture and arboriculture initiatives within urban planning frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including scope statements, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, landscape architects, environmental specialists, and municipal authorities to ensure seamless project execution
• Analyze technical requirements and feasibility studies for arboriculture and agricultural integration in urban environments
• Monitor project performance metrics, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget adherence
• Prepare and present progress reports, status updates, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and sustainability requirements specific to Riyadh's urban planning initiatives
• Manage stakeholder communications and coordinate between internal teams and external partners
• Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed
• Support the development of best practices and process improvements for future agriculture and arboriculture projects

• 7+ years of professional experience in agriculture, arboriculture, or environmental engineering
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in project management office (PMO) functions or project management roles
• Proven experience managing complex urban planning or infrastructure projects
• Strong proficiency with project management tools and software (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms)
• Advanced knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and CAD software
• Expertise in budget management, resource allocation, and financial forecasting
• Comprehensive understanding of urban planning principles and regulations applicable to Middle Eastern contexts
• Knowledge of sustainability standards and environmental compliance frameworks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency in technical documentation and report writing
