Job summary

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (Gen. Org.) is seeking an Admissions staff member to greet patients, update records, and process inpatient appointments.

The role involves registering patient information, confirming eligibility for referred specialties, and guiding patients to relevant services within the hospital. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or IPA Diploma in Hospital Administration (or related) or a High School Diploma with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, IPA Diploma in Hospital Administration or other related discipline, or High School Education is required.

Responsibilities

• Receives and greets patients as they arrive in the Admission area and take necessary action as needed.
• Updates patient’s bio-data address telephone number etc.
• Registers and confirms patient’s information using computer system and takes necessary action for patients to be admitted.
• Verifies patient’s eligibility status for the referred specialty.
• Responsible for providing the Patients Bill of Rights and Handbook and ensuring understanding by patients.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Receives and greets patients as they arrive in the Admission area and take necessary action as needed
• Updates patient s bio-data addrress telephone number etc
• Registers and confirms patient s information using computer system and takes necessary action for patients to be admitted
• Verifies patient s eligibility status makes sure that patient is eligible for the specialty he she is referred to
• Responsible for giving the Patients Bill of Rights and Handbook and ensure that patients fully understand the contents
• Answers patients and their families inquiries provides any assistance and directs them to any other services they ask for e g Pharmacy Laboratory Social Services etc
• Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures
• Participates in self and other s education training and development as applicable
• Performs any other related duties as assigned

Education

Bachelor s Degree, IPA Diploma in Hospital Administration or other related discipline, or High School Education is required.

Experience Required

No Experience required with Bachelor s Degree, one (1) year of related experience with IPA Diploma or three (3) years with High School Education is required.

Saudi National only.
