Client of Teach East seeks an Academic Coordinator to ensure smooth academic operations and act as a central point of contact between faculty, students and administration. You will coordinate course schedules, timetables, examinations and classroom allocations, liaise with faculty, monitor progress, and support LMS implementations on-site in Makkah.
You will need a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related discipline, with 2+ years in academic coordination; proficiency in English is essential
The Academic Coordinator will ensure smooth academic operations and act as a central point of contact between faculty students and administration Coordinate course schedules timetables examinations and classroom allocations Liaise with faculty to ensure curriculum delivery aligns with academic standards and programme objectives Monitor student progress and attendance maintain accurate academic records and reports Support the implementation and maintenance of learning management systems LMS and digital resources Assist with orientation enrolment processes and communication with students and parents where appropriate Prepare materials and logistical arrangements for assessments meetings and academic events Contribute to quality assurance accreditation documentation and continuous improvement initiatives Manage day-to-day academic enquiries and elevate issues to senior academic staff as required Support training and professional development activities for teaching staff
Bachelor s degree in Education, Educational Management, or a related discipline; a Master s degree is desirable. Minimum of 2 years experience in academic coordination, educational administration or a similar role. Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g. Moodle, Blackboard) and standard academic administration processes. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is desirable. Attention to detail, problem-solving ability and a commitment to maintaining academic quality and integrity. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable working with data and reports. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and to engage professionally with students and staff on-site.
This role is based on-site in Makkah and requires regular presence at the institution to support academic activities and stakeholder engagement.
