Job summary

Nakilat is looking for a Payroll Administrator to manage seafarers’ payroll, vendor invoices and records in accordance with company policies. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality and timely processing within a maritime environment.

You will maintain marine personnel data, coordinate with finance and HR, and ensure audits are completed effectively while supporting annual bonuses and payroll reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or Finance; professional certificates such as CMA/CPA/ACCA are advantageous.
• 3–5 years of payroll/financial experience, preferably in maritime or similar regulated industry.
• Knowledge of payroll systems, tax and compliance considerations for seafarers.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly seafarers’ wages, update bank accounts in the payroll system.
• Ensure eligible allowances are captured per contracts and company policies.
• Deduct advances and coordinate with treasury for timely transfers.
• Prepare and post payroll entries; maintain vessel budgets and accruals.
