Job summary

Nakilat in Qatar is seeking an experienced Marine Personnel Manager to oversee the day-to-day provision of crew services for the fleet, ensuring compliant crewing processes and alignment with regulatory requirements.

You will act as a key liaison between the company and seafarers, guiding employment matters, managing records, and coordinating with HR, training, and procurement to support national and international crew deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading marine personnel operations with a focus on regulatory compliance and crewing efficiency.
• Ability to develop and implement policies related to seafarer employment, payroll, and records.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across HR, training, procurement and fleet management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day crewing activities including embarkation/disembarkation planning and contract administration.
• Ensure compliance with STCW, MLC and Nakilat governance in all crewing activities.
• Prepare management reports, monitor budgets, and support strategic workforce planning.
• Coordinate with Learning & Development to support nationalization goals and cadet development.
• Lead disciplinary actions when required and ensure fair treatment under policy.
