Job summary

Nakilat in Qatar is seeking a senior Marine Personnel professional to oversee day-to-day crewing services for the assigned fleet, ensuring compliance with STCW, MLC, and regulatory requirements while acting as a key liaison with seafarers.

The role reports to the Marine Personnel Manager and entails policy development, budget handling, reports, payroll reviews, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain qualified, deployment-ready seafarers for operational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in Business Administration or HR.
• 6–8 years in marine personnel or crewing roles.
• Deep knowledge of STCW, MLC and seafarer employment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Marine Personnel Manager in policy development and documentation.
• Oversee day-to-day crewing activities and embarkation planning.
• Prepare detailed management reports and tender documentation.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with HR, training, and recruitment to meet staffing needs.
