Job summary

Nakilat in Qatar is seeking an experienced professional to provide advanced vessels crewing/manning financial coordination and cost governance support to the Marine Personnel function.

You will act as a cross functional facilitator, ensuring accurate cost allocation, robust expenditure monitoring, and effective financial communication across Fleet, Marine Personnel, Procurement, and Finance for crewing/manning matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management/administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and validate the monthly seafarers' wage execution across all vessels, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of payments.
• Interpret, track, and communicate crew and manning OPEX budget performance to Fleet Management and Superintendents.
• Ensure all crew related costs are properly authorized, recorded, and allocated to correct GL accounts.
• Maintain complete, audit-ready supporting documentation for reviews and variance analyses.
• Serve as the central liaison between MPD, Fleet, Finance, Procurement, and external service providers.
• Coordinate with Finance to validate invoices and review month-end cost allocation outputs.
• Generate analytical reports, dashboards, and cost summaries related to vessels crewing/manning.
• Identify opportunities to optimize crewing/manning cost control workflows and reporting.
