Job summary

Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha seek an Assistant Banquet Manager to coordinate corporate events and social functions within a luxury hotel environment. You will support the MICE Sales and Events teams, ensuring seamless coordination between clients and hotel departments and maximizing event revenue.

The role requires overseeing event setup, timelines, staffing, and service delivery while maintaining the brands' luxury standards and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or Diploma with relevant experience in luxury events.
• 3–5 years of experience in MICE operations, banquet or conference services in a luxury hotel.
• Strong knowledge of event planning, banquet operations, function room setups and AV requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational planning and execution of meetings, conferences, exhibitions and corporate events.
• Coordinate with Banquets, F&B, Culinary, Front Office, Housekeeping and AV/IT to ensure seamless delivery.
• Prepare, review BEOs, schedules and checklists; conduct pre-event briefings and communicate requirements to departments.
