Job summary

Raffles & Fairmont Doha seeks a senior Banquets leader to drive strategy and performance across luxury weddings, conferences and world-class events. You will lead the Banquets leadership team, partner with Sales, Culinary and Finance to ensure exceptional guest experiences and profitability.

The role requires overseeing large-scale, high-profile functions in a fast-paced, international luxury brand environment with a strong focus on service standards and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people-management skills with experience leading large, multicultural teams.
• Excellent understanding of luxury service standards and guest experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction and performance of Banquets & Events across Raffles & Fairmont Doha.
• Partner with Sales & Events to maximize business opportunities and revenue.
• Oversee delivery of luxury weddings, conferences, and high-profile events.
• Champion service standards, guest experience and operational excellence.
• Lead and develop the Banquets leadership team and talent development.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Sales, Finance, Rooms and Events teams for seamless execution.
• Optimize resources, staffing, equipment and processes for profitability.
• Drive innovation in event experiences and banquet offerings.
• Monitor market trends and feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, food safety, licensing and governance.
• Represent Banquets at senior leadership level and contribute to F&B/hotel strategy.
