Job summary

Construction in Doha seeks an IT Support Specialist to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users, install and maintain operating systems and applications, and tailor setups to meet user requirements. You will monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity, and manage VPN and firewall, coordinating with suppliers and service providers to keep servers up to date and secure.

Ideal candidates have a degree in IT or a related field, relevant certifications, and at least

Qualifications

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or MCITP are highly desirable.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users ensuring minimal downtime and optimal productivity.
Install, configure and maintain operating systems and applications tailoring setups to meet specific user requirements.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues maintaining seamless communication across the organization.
Manage and maintain VPN connectivity and a firewall.
Deals with supplier and 3rd party service providers; manage servers such as file server.
Conduct regular system updates and security patches proactively mitigating vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance.
