Job summary

Regency Technology - Qatar is seeking an IT Support Technician to install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, OS, printers, and applications. The role involves upgrading systems, monitoring networks, and providing timely user support to resolve issues.

Responsibilities include configuring Outlook for new users, performing regular security scans, managing printer assets, and closing incidents in the ticketing system.

Qualifications

• IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field is required.
• MCITP or MCSE certification is preferred.
• CCNA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, printers, and applications.
• Upgrade operating system and application.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
• Help users via face-to-face or telephone to set up systems or resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and fix hardware/software faults.
• Repairing and replacing parts as required.
• Setting up accounts and configuring Outlook for new users.
• Run security scans regularly on end user devices.
• Maintain inventory of technology items, printer toners and consumables.
• Follow and close assigned incidents on ticketing system.
