Job summary

Maseera in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a General Manager for Real Estate Development to lead the strategic direction and deliver the company’s portfolio growth.

You will own P&L accountability, oversee end-to-end development, manage stakeholder relations, and report to the Board. The role requires 20+ years of executive experience in real estate development and an MBA; bilingual Arabic and English preferred.

Qualifications

• MBA is required for the role.
• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Business is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategic & P&L leadership: Define and implement the corporate strategy with full P&L accountability for the real estate portfolio and growth.
• Project portfolio governance: Oversee end-to-end development life cycles from land acquisition to delivery.
• Board reporting & governance: Liaise with the Board; provide monthly/quarterly financial updates and proposals.
• Commercial & sales strategy: Guide marketing, leasing and sales to maximise asset valuation and occupancy.
• Stakeholder & regulatory management: Maintain relationships with government bodies, financial institutions and JV partners.
• Financial & risk management: Monitor cash flow, financing, capital allocation and procurement risks.
• Executive leadership & team building: Lead multidisciplinary teams to foster high performance and compliance.
