Responsibilities

  • Sales Execution: Implement plans to attract and convert leads into bookings for corporate and social events.
  • Full Cycle Management: Manage client meetings, proposals, contracts, and CRM maintenance.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with Event Coordination and Banqueting teams for seamless execution.
  • Market Intelligence: Identify new business opportunities and pricing strategies.
  • Brand Representation: Attend tradeshows and industry events to promote offerings.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Monitor targets and provide insights to senior management.
  • Systems Management: Maintain accurate client databases and reporting in venue systems.
  • Leadership Support: Assist Head of Event Sales in training junior staff.

The Event Sales Manager is responsible for drivingvenue hire and catering sales, with a primary focus on MICE (Meetings,Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), corporate, and social events. Youwill manage the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to post-eventfollow-up, ensuring high standards of client satisfaction and consistentrevenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Execution: Implement strategic plans to attract and convert leads into confirmed bookings for corporate and social functions.
  • Full Cycle Management: Handle client meetings, proposal development, contract negotiations, and CRM maintenance.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with EventCoordination and Banqueting teams to ensure a seamless handover and flawlessexecution of events.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct research to identify new business opportunities and contribute to the development of competitive pricing strategies and booking policies.
  • Brand Representation: Act as an ambassador at tradeshows, networking events, and industry conferences to promote venue andcatering offerings.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Monitor performance againstsales targets and provide regular insights and reports to seniormanagement.
  • Systems Management: Utilize Venue ManagementSystems to ensure accurate client databases and reporting.
  • Leadership Support: Assist the Head of Event Salesin training junior staff and enhancing overall team performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years in event sales, ideally withinluxury hospitality or major convention centers.
  • Track Record: Proven success in business development and managinghigh-level client relationships.
