Finastra is seeking an Expert Support Consultant in Lisbon to join the Universal Banking Support team. The role focuses on L2 production support for banking systems, diagnosing live environment issues, and resolving customer cases end-to-end while coordinating with development and product teams.

You will work in a hybrid setup, interacting with global clients, and contributing to stable production services.

Qualificações

• Functional experience in retail banking, universal banking, or payments.
• Hands-on exposure to production support environments.
• Experience with middleware/application servers like WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss.
• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL) for investigation and analysis.
• Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands and basic scripting.
• Strong communication skills and customer-first mindset.
• Structured, analytical approach to diagnosing and resolving issues.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a functional and technical expert for the Universal Banking platform in live production environments.
• Investigate, analyse, and resolve L2 production issues, including log analysis and scenario replication.
• Own customer cases end-to-end with clear communication and SLA awareness.
• Collaborate with Development and Product teams, escalating defects when required.
• Test fixes and configuration changes before customer delivery to ensure stability and prevent regression.
• Build trusted relationships with banking clients through updates and expectation management.
• Support customer needs with flexible shift or on-call arrangements.
