Job summary

Arrow ECS Portugal is seeking a Field Sales Representative with a technical background to join our sales team in Lisbon. You will be responsible for developing business at the IBM Business Unit in Portugal, managing and growing strategic accounts within the IT distribution channel.

The role requires 2–5 years in commercial IT roles, a solid hardware/software portfolio understanding, and fluent Portuguese and English.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in commercial IT distribution or technology roles.
• Technical background is a must.
• Strong knowledge of the IT distribution channel (resellers, retail, integrators, VARs).
• Proven ability to negotiate with key accounts and manage profit margins.
• Solid understanding of hardware, software, and IT solutions portfolios (servers, networking, cloud, security).
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
• Proficient in Excel and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow strategic IT accounts within the IT distribution channel.
• Develop business at the IBM Business Unit in Portugal.
• Coordinate with resellers, integrators, and technology partners.
• Negotiate with key accounts and maintain profit margins.
• Interpret sales and market data to drive decisions.
