InnoTech in Portugal is seeking a senior Systems Administrator (Dell) to design, implement, and maintain enterprise virtualization, storage, and backup environments. You will ensure high availability of VMware/Oracle VM platforms, Dell backup tools, and Dell storage across on‑premises infrastructure.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience with virtualization, backup, and storage, plus Linux expertise and HC infrastructure knowledge. EU work permit is required.

Qualificações

• At least 10 years of professional experience in systems administration.
• Solid hands‑on knowledge of VMware and Oracle VM virtualization technologies.
• Proven experience with enterprise backup and storage solutions, particularly Dell PowerProtect Data Manager, Data Domain, PowerStore, Unity, PowerScale, or Compellent.
• Practical knowledge of hyperconverged platforms such as VxRail and Nutanix, as well as Linux environments and infrastructure monitoring.
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

• Manage and optimize Dell storage platforms such as PowerStore, Unity, PowerScale, and Compellent.
• Support and maintain hyperconverged infrastructures based on VxRail and Nutanix.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to security and reliability of on‑premises environments.

Your Mission Will Be

• Manage and maintain enterprise virtualization environments based on VMware and Oracle VM;

You Will Need

• At least 10 years of professional experience in systems administration, with a strong focus on backup, storage, and virtualization in medium or large-scale enterprise environments;


• Solid hands‑on knowledge of VMware and Oracle VM virtualization technologies;


• Proven experience with enterprise backup and storage solutions, particularly Dell PowerProtect Data Manager, Data Domain, PowerStore, Unity, PowerScale, or Compellent;


• Practical knowledge of hyperconverged platforms such as VxRail and Nutanix, as well as Linux environments and infrastructure monitoring;


• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

Would Be Awesome If You Have

• Experience with VMware Tanzu and/or VMware Horizon Virtual Desktop;


• Relevant technical certifications in virtualization, storage, backup, or systems administration;


• Experience working with infrastructure security, compliance, and availability requirements;


• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and management stakeholders;


• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
