InnoTech is seeking a Mid Data Engineer to join our data team in Portugal. You will design and maintain cloud-first data pipelines, leveraging Fabric, ADF and Synapse, and contribute to scalable data architectures. English proficiency required, EU work permit preferred.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in data engineering with cloud-native architecture.
• Experience with Fabric, ADF or Synapse or equivalent.
• Strong SQL and scripting (Python, Spark); English B2+.

Responsabilidades

• Build and improve data solutions on Fabric, ADF, Synapse, or similar platforms.
• Implement, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows with quality testing.

Your Mission Will Be

• Develop and maintain reliable data pipelines using cloud-based technologies and well-defined engineering practices;
• Build and enhance data solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or comparable technologies;
• Implement, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows;
• Contribute to data architecture and ETL/ELT solutions while ensuring code quality through testing, reviews, and version control.

You Will Need

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, preferably working with cloud-native solutions and data architecture;
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or equivalent data engineering technologies;
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or similar platforms;
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Spark, or other scripting technologies;
• English proficiency at B2 level or above;
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

Would Be Awesome If You Have

• Previous exposure to DevOps or DataOps practices, particularly CI/CD workflows for data solutions;
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data architecture, technical design principles and testing practices;
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
