InnoTech is seeking a Datacenter & Infrastructure Engineer in Portugal to ensure availability, performance, and security of critical datacenter and private cloud infrastructure. You will oversee physical environments, networking, virtualization, storage, and backup, while guiding a technical team toward continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has strong networking, virtualization, storage, and backup expertise, plus familiarity with ITIL processes and service availability.

Your Mission Will Be

• Manage and ensure the availability, performance, security, and efficiency of critical Datacenter and Private Cloud infrastructure;
• Oversee physical Datacenter environments, networking, virtualization, storage, backup, and operational security;
• Lead the technical team, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement;
• Monitor services, handle incidents and changes according to ITIL practices, and ensure agreed SLAs are met;
• Identify opportunities for technological optimization, automation, and innovation.

You Will Need

• Strong technical expertise across networking, virtualization, storage, backup, and Linux/Windows Server environments, including technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, Hyper-V, SAN/NAS, and Veeam;
• Professional experience working with complex, highly available infrastructure environments;
• Solid knowledge of Datacenter infrastructure, LAN/WAN networks, virtualization platforms, storage solutions, backup strategies, and disaster recovery;
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and a strong focus on service availability and SLAs;
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

Would Be Awesome If You Have

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields;
• Relevant certifications such as VMware, Cisco, or ITIL;
• Experience with automation and scripting applied to infrastructure management;
• Previous experience leading or developing technical infrastructure teams;
• Knowledge of Dell, Huawei, SAN Switching, Dell Avamar, or similar enterprise technologies.
