Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG in Portugal seeks a Subledger Accountant to join the Accounting & Controlling Regional HUB, covering Europe. You will perform general and sub-ledger accounting, post invoices, reconcile accounts, and support audits and projects across multiple entities.

Fluent English is mandatory; additional languages and SAP Financials experience are a plus. Strong Excel skills and a university degree in business, accounting or economics are expected.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of German or French is a plus.
• User knowledge in SAP Financials will be a plus.
• Very good MS Office knowledge, particularly Excel.
• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.
• Strong communication and team orientation.
• Flexible and able to work under pressure in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting activities and sub-ledger accounting activities.
• Analyze accounting reports and financial statements.
• Post 3rd party invoices.
• Perform account reconciliations (GL, Banks, Vendors, Customers).
• Post cash and bank transactions.
• Allocate cash to customer accounts.
• Carry out quality checks and respond to accounting questions.
• Support auditing processes.
• Support accounting related projects.

It ensures the correctness of the Financial Statements of 29 entities in the following countries: Belgium, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, Malta, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Wales and United Kingdom.

Subledger Accountant (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Perform general accounting activities and sub-ledger accounting activities.

Work Experience
