Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG in Lisbon is seeking an Accountant Trainee to join the Accounting & Controlling Regional HUB. The role covers accounting, closing and reporting for multiple entities across Europe, contributing to accurate financial statements for 29 entities in various countries.

You will perform general and sub-ledger accounting tasks, invoice postings, reconciliations, cash postings, and support audits and accounting projects.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (written and spoken) mandatory.
• User knowledge in SAP Financials is a plus.
• Very good MS Office knowledge, particularly Excel.
• University Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.
• Strong communication and team orientation.
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting activities and sub-ledger accounting activities.
• Analyze accounting reports and financial statements.
• Post 3rd party invoices.
• Reconcile GL, banks, vendors, and customers.
• Post cash and bank transactions.
• Allocate cash to customer accounts.
• Conduct quality checks and answer accounting questions.
• Support auditing processes and accounting-related projects.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Perform general accounting activities and sub-ledger accounting activities.

Work Experience
