Siemens AG is hiring a Customer Care - Accountant who communicates in English to support our Western Europe FPS operations in Portugal. You will maintain key account relationships, ensure accurate accounting, and handle month-end closures in a fast-paced, diverse environment.

The role requires a financial degree, SAP experience, and strong MS Office skills. A hybrid work model with flexible hours and continuous learning opportunities is offered.

Qualificações

• University degree in a financial area.
• Fluent knowledge of English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Experience with SAP.
• Interest in AI and digital innovation to improve efficiency and processes.
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure in a changing environment.
• G/L Accounting background is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions quickly.
• Capability to work both in a team and independently.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and build strong relationships with key accounts.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through clear and effective communication.
• Track customer requests, ensuring prompt resolution and collaborate with other teams to solve any customer questions.
• Monitor service performance of AC Backoffice against agreed targets and coordinate corrective actions with accounting operational team.
• Accurate and timely accounting service, by processing transactions in line with the company regulations and guidelines.
• Reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts.
• Perform Month End Closure activities.
• Consolidation and Financial Reporting Activities.

Your mission will be…

We are looking for someone with…

• University degree in a Financial Area;
• Fluent knowledge of English language Write and Spoken (mandatory);
• Proficient in MSOffice;
• Experience with SAP;
• Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital innovation, with the ability to explore and apply AI tools to improve efficiency and processes;
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure, in a changing environment;
• Strong customer focus, result & quality orientation, and professional ethics;
• G/L Accounting background would be a plus;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is a plus;
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions quickly;
• Capability to work both in a team and independently.
