Job summary

Experis Portugal is recruiting an Operational Buyer to join an international client and enhance procurement operations in a dynamic environment. You will process PRs and POs in SAP, monitor orders, coordinate with suppliers, and keep project managers informed about delivery risks.

The ideal candidate has procurement or order management experience, strong English, and solid Excel skills. The role offers a hybrid work model in Lisbon, health insurance, an annual bonus, and potential direct client

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, purchasing administration, supply chain or order management.
• Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP or similar platforms.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with different stakeholders.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process approved Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and create Purchase Orders (POs) using SAP and other procurement systems.
• Monitor outstanding orders and ensure timely order placement and follow-up.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm orders, track deliveries and address delays or other issues.
• Keep Project Managers and internal stakeholders informed about order status and potential delivery risks.
• Support invoice matching and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, goods or services received, and invoices.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and operational efficiency.
