Job summary

Yazaki North America, Inc. is seeking a Sales Account Manager to manage and grow strategic automotive accounts from our plant in Portugal.

You will act as the primary commercial interface, understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and drive profitable sales growth. The role involves RFQ ownership, proposal development, and negotiations, with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration to meet customer targets and protect Yazaki’s profitability.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• MBA or Marketing preferable.
• Fluent English required; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with assigned customers (Renault).
• Develop and execute account strategies for profitable sales growth.
• Take commercial ownership of RFQs and proposals, lead negotiations.
• Understand ECS portfolio and translate into business opportunities.
• Prepare and update sales forecasts, budgets and opportunity pipelines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align on customer priorities.
