Job summary

Yazaki North America, Inc. is seeking a Material Controlling Specialist at our plant in Portugal to support profitability and operational excellence through cost analysis, savings tracking, and data-driven decision-making.

You will ensure accurate reporting and high-quality purchasing data to aid Sales, Purchasing, Controlling, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on material savings, price accuracy, and process optimization while collaborating

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree in Economics, Business Administration or Accounting.
Background in costing and/or controlling activities.
Strong motivation and ability to develop practical/innovative approaches.

Responsibilities

Contribute to profit improvement and data quality in the purchasing database.
Provide dashboards linking Sales, Plant, Finished Goods, Components and Suppliers.
Support Sales and Purchasing with data-driven analysis and trend insights.
Provide budget, forecast and actuals for material saving and market impact.
Support vertical integration activities.
Ensure data accuracy, deadlines and credible reporting.
Propose process optimizations and useful toolsets.
Collaborate with Sales, Cost Engineering, Controlling, Purchasing, Logistics, IT.
