Yazaki North America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager for Production Engineering and Assembly to lead the manufacturing engineering organization in our Aveiro plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related engineering.
• 12+ years of manufacturing or industrial engineering experience with leadership in high-volume environments.
• Strong experience in automotive, electronics, connection systems, or similar industries.
• Proven track record in manufacturing leadership, industrialization, automation, and optimization.
• Experience with new product launches, capital investments, and equipment development.
• Solid knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience working in international, multicultural organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing, Process, and Automation Engineers.
• Drive industrialization and new product launches from concept through production ramp-up.
• Enhance manufacturing performance through automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement.
• Improve productivity, quality, OEE, process capability, and cost competitiveness.
• Define and implement manufacturing technology and equipment strategies.
• Manage capital investment and capacity planning projects.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality, Product Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management.
• Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
