Job summary

Organon is seeking an Associate Specialist to ensure StS processes comply with accounting standards, SOX and statutory requirements within a regional scope. You will help oversee service delivery from our BPO and collaborate with markets to understand the business model and dynamics.

The role emphasizes process improvement, internal controls, audits, and cross-functional collaboration with vendors and stakeholders across Athena and STS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• 1–2 years of experience in a finance or accounting department of a multinational company.
• Experience with Internal or External Audit valued.
• Strong financial controls knowledge and attention to detail.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, WHT and VAT valued.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese/Spanish a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver services following Service Level, Controls and Governance.
• Manage process risk by adhering to policies and internal controls and ensure SOX compliance.
• Support process improvement and project management discipline.
• Collaborate with internal/external auditors to support audit results.
• Support training, accuracy, and timely delivery of work outputs.
• Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies through continuous improvement.
• Maintain global SOPs and Regional Work Instructions with the StS Global Process Owner.
• Provide consultative support to outsource partners (Genpact Dalian).
• Resolve escalated queries in accordance with SLAs.
• Collaborate with vendors and STS systems to resolve issues.
