Decskill, an IT consulting company with over a decade of experience, is growing and seeking a Software Asset Manager to join the Lisbon/Porto team. The role focuses on software asset governance, license compliance, and optimization within an international context.

You will collect evidences, liaise with Group Procurement, and deliver SAM reporting to management. This position offers opportunities across national and international projects.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, specifically Software Asset Management.
• Experience coordinating with remote and multicultural teams.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized with strong time-management.
• Ability to work in an international setup and with diverse teams.
• Good level of English.

Responsabilidades

• Understand governance and rules for SAM and ensure deployment.
• Collect evidences of software usages for group inventories and purchasing contracts.
• Maintain documentation for software usages, contracts and invoices.
• Be the first point of contact for WM GAIM purchases and liaise with Procurement.
• Follow up action plans to ensure compliance or optimization (uninstall, transfer, purchase).
• Prepare SAM reporting and keep management informed with summaries and statistics.

We are looking for an Software Asset Manager!

Mission: The objective of the SAM (Software Asset Management) activity is to ensure the software compliance, no more usages than licences purchased and optimization, close monitoring of unused licences.

Responsabilities:

• Understand the Group governance and rules for SAM activity and ensure its deployment Enforce the rules Draft or contribute to draft any procedure or documentation for awareness purpose.
• Collect evidences of software usages for Group inventories (Group contracts) by launching local inventories (Contracts signed by WM GAIM CIO).
• Collect evidences of purchase Contracts and amendment or Purchase Order and related invoices.
• Maintenance payment Be the first point of contact for WM GAIM purchases when liaising with Group Procurement or any Group reseller.
• Follow up the action plans to ensure the software compliance or optimization: uninstallation, transfer or purchase.
• Liaise with the teams in charge and ensure to raise any alert on time to management.
• Update the related documentation: Global follow up of usages versus purchases and maintenance payment Actions plans.
• Documentation per software (metric, purchase rules, specificities and attention points) Post inventories™ summary.
• Provide the right level of reporting Keep the Contract Management & SAM Team Leader informed of the SAM activity with a relevant summary and raise any attention point.
• Prepare the SAM reporting for WM GAIM management (Synthetic view, attention points and statistics).
• Provide on request any information about WM GAIM software usages, purchase or rules to be applied.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in IT Experience in Software Asset Management.
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment and remote teams Coordination skills and ability to respect a defined scope and time frame.
• Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive Extremely organized with strong time-management skills Problem-solving skills Results driven Autonomous and Pragmatic.
• Ability to work in a smooth way with other team™s member and in an international set up.
• Good level of English.
