Paddle is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to drive reliability across the platform, working closely with product and engineering teams. You’ll automate deployment, improve observability, and support scalable infrastructure using technologies such as Go, PHP Laravel, Aurora/MySQL, Docker, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Significant software development background with shipping and operating production services.
• Strong fundamentals in testing, code review, CI/CD, and debugging.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain tools to maximise engineering efficiency.
• Automate deployment infrastructure and database upgrades.
• Drive automation to improve Developer Experience and enable engineers.
• Create, maintain and test disaster recovery processes; automate where possible.
• Support AI tool adoption with guardrails and productivity benefits.
• Handle production incidents and write blameless postmortems.
• Monitor, alert, and track SLOs; perform hands-on SRE work.
• Run load testing and tuning across apps, data stores and AWS.
• Own cost optimization: autoscaling, right-sizing, and storage tiers.
• Advocate GitOps practices.
