Job summary

Fountain is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of our platform. You will partner with Engineering, Security and Product to build resilient infrastructure, improve developer experience, and raise the bar on observability and incident response.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of site reliability engineering experience.
• Experience owning reliability for production systems and defining SLOs.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes/Helm, preferably on EKS.
• Knowledge of AWS core services, networking and IAM.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitOps and incident postmortems.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve platform reliability (SLOs/SLIs) and production readiness.
• Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure and deployment workflows.
• Operate and evolve AWS footprint with a security-first mindset.
• Improve CD/GitOps practices (ArgoCD) and deployment safety.
• Lead incident response and postmortems, driving preventative actions.
• Enhance observability with metrics, logs, traces, and OpenTelemetry.
