Job summary

team.it is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own reliability across cloud-native platforms and customer-facing services. You will drive end-to-end observability, design for resilience, and partner with product, architecture, security, and data teams.

You will champion SRE best practices, lead incident response, and contribute to capacity planning while working in a fast-paced, Agile environment. This role emphasizes automation, scalability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in SRE/Operations/DevOps/Production support roles.
• Production experience with on-call responsibilities.
• Strong incident response and troubleshooting in high-availability systems.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, Infra, Security).
• Experience with structured incident/problem/change management processes.
• Solid understanding of SRE principles and production operations.
• Experience with Linux-based systems and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with observability tools and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability, performance, reliability, and resilience of cloud-native platforms.
• Work at intersection of software engineering and operations with automation and observability.
• Set up end-to-end observability with metrics, logs, traces across distributed systems.
• Implement and manage SLOs/SLIs/SLAs with product teams.
• Analyze bottlenecks and identify instability proactively.
• Embed reliability early into the SDLC with development teams.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, and Data teams on standards.
• Improve design, deployments, operability, scalability, and performance.
• Support capacity planning, performance tuning, and growth strategies.
