iTRTech Group in Portugal is seeking a Roaming Operations Engineer L2 for a hybrid role in Lisbon. You will act as the technical escalation point for international roaming, ensuring service stability across global networks.

The role requires 6+ years of Mobile Core/Roaming experience, strong incident management, and fluent Spanish and English (B2). Hybrid: 2 days on-site in Lisbon, with occasional out-of-hours support.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Mobile Core, Roaming Operations, Network Support, or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Strong experience troubleshooting complex telecommunications environments.
• Professional communication skills in Spanish and English (minimum B2).
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and resolve complex incidents escalated from the L1 support team.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across Mobile Core and International Roaming platforms.
• Conduct detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate incident resolution with international operators, equipment vendors, and technology partners.
• Lead technical activities during major incidents and high-impact service disruptions.
• Support change implementations, maintenance windows, and operational validations.
• Produce technical documentation, operational procedures, and post-incident reports.
• Mentor and support the technical development of L1 teams.
• Identify automation opportunities and operational improvements.
• Participate in network evolution and operational transformation initiatives.
