Job summary

SIXT in Lisbon is seeking a highly skilled data scientist to architect and productionise advanced regression models and personalization systems that power pricing and offers decisions across millions of interactions. You will develop models using Bayesian methods and scale them in production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn ideas into measurable impact.

You will deploy models via FastAPI, Docker, and Kubeflow, establish real-time monitoring, and design A/B tests and causal

Qualifications

• 5+ years applying regression, hierarchical models, or state-space methods in production.
• Proficient in building probabilistic models and Bayesian inference for real-world pricing.
• Experience in productionising models and building reproducible pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Architect and prototype advanced regression models with Bayesian approaches for pricing at scale.
• Design and productionise personalization and recommendation systems with contextual bandits and evaluation.
• Apply SVI, MCMC, and importance sampling for robust decision-making under uncertainty.
• Build and maintain production-grade Python code with CI/CD practices.
• Deploy models via FastAPI, Docker, or Kubeflow and monitor performance.
