SIXT is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Lisbon to design and deploy advanced fleet planning systems. You will model and solve optimization problems influencing purchasing, pricing and projections, and translate results for leadership with a strong emphasis on practical impact.

Applicants should have a Master’s in OR or related field, solid ML knowledge, and Python expertise. The role offers hybrid work in Lisbon with AI tools support and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• Strong background in mathematical optimization and ML.
• Experience applying optimization to fleet or revenue decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deploy fleet planning systems across purchasing, pricing and projections.
• Solve linear, nonlinear, dynamic and stochastic optimization problems.
• Explain results and rationale to stakeholders.
• Build models of car pricing and allocation in real world settings.
• Stay current with research in revenue management and ML.
• Mentor junior team members.
