Capgemini Engineering in Portugal is seeking a technical NOC leader to ensure network availability and service performance across multiple domains. You will provide technical leadership, manage major incidents, mentor engineers, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end resolution.

The role requires a Telecommunications or related degree and hands-on experience with mobile core networks, signaling, and vendor ecosystems (Ericsson, Huawei).

Qualificações

• Degree in Telecommunications, Networking, CS or related field.
• Experience in Mobile Core Network engineering, support or operations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish and English in a technical environment.
• Familiarity with Core Network Platforms and IMS/Voice Core components.
• Experience with Signaling & Interconnect technologies.
• Experience with vendors Ericsson and Huawei.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership within the NOC, ensuring network and service availability, performance, and operational excellence.
• Lead major incident management, troubleshooting, and service restoration activities across multiple technology domains.
• Act as a senior point of reference for operational teams, driving technical guidance and decision-making.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure efficient issue resolution and service continuity.
• Contribute to process improvement, operational governance, and NOC performance management.
• Mentor and support engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
• Depending on the profile, act as either a Core CS / Voice Core technical lead or a transversal NOC lead with end-to-end network oversight.

• Ability to communicate in Spanish and English within a technical environment.
• Core Network Platforms: HLR, HSS/HSS-FE, CUDB, UDM, UDR, AuC, EIR, DNS.
• IMS & Voice Core: CSCF, MTAS, MGW, MGC, MRF, Media Server.
• Signaling & Interconnect: SS7, SIGTRAN, Diameter, SIP, SBC, STP.
• Vendors: Ericsson, Huawei.
